Core Values

Worship - When we worship God, we strive to honor Him by living a life set apart from the world. When we worship God, we are recognizing His inexpressible, indescribable, and infinite worth. Like the angels in heaven, all true worshipers say, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power”. True worship not only recognizes the worthiness of God, it rejoices in it.

Revelation 4:11

Intimacy with God- We intend to devote ourselves to meditating on the Word of God, to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, to communion, and to prayer. Jesus said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:5

Godly Character- We desire to seek after God’s holiness and righteousness in our lives. “Therefore as God’s chosen people clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Colossians 3:12

Discipleship- We believe in mentoring and encouraging people to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ, equipping them to joyfully overcome the pressures and trials of this present life. Believers need to constantly examine their thoughts, words and actions in accordance with the Word of God. We should always be ready to give testimony for the hope that is within us and disciple others to walk in His way.

1 Peter 3:15 Luke 14:25-33

Evangelism- We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church. We believe that evangelism is not the responsibility of a select group, but that authentic relationships can provide the opportunity for any believer to lead another to Christ. We want our primary focus to be people and obedience to the Great Commission, not programs.

Matthew 18:14 Luke 5:30-32 Matthew 28:19

Serving- Jesus came to serve. As Christians, we are to model our lives after Him in our service by washing each other’s feet, especially those of the poor, widows, and orphans.
